I am Nancy, Lier Noir is my indulgence for pretty things. 

Jewelry has always been a fascination. 

It started with a jade Buddha in a 4 prong setting on a delicate gold chain. It was a birthday present from my grandfather when I was born. Unfortunately 🙁 I no longer have it. 

Then freshwater pearl bracelets and necklaces from my Aunt Ina. I didn't appreciate it as a child but I cherish it now. I miss her lively 😂 , albeit accurate 🧐 commentary. 

My grandmother would say, ”A woman is not a woman without jewelry.“ I don't necessarily agree with that statement, but you don't argue with the 90-year-old matriarch 😂.

I love creating beautiful yet maybe sometimes odd pieces that are not for everyone. 

Yet having the opportunity to make this for everyone makes me pretty happy 😁
